The Barça Academy World Cup has officially begun in a ceremonial setting, once again bringing together young footballers from all around the world in Barcelona to celebrate football, togetherness, and the values of the club.
The tournament’s official opening was held by Benny Megreli, Global Director of Barça Academy, and Sergi Barjuan, former FC Barcelona player and current Sporting Director of Barça Academy.
Rafael Yuste, one of the club’s vice presidents, also attended the event and warmly welcomed the players, professionals, and family members present. His presence clearly reflected the importance this international event holds for the club.
