A Barça Academy Hungary places great importance on ensuring that our players and teams compete at the appropriate level, and on giving them the opportunity to gain experience in as many international tournaments and trials as possible from a young age. In modern football, gaining international experience is becoming increasingly important: exposure to different playing styles, high-intensity matches, and new football cultures all contribute to the development of our players.
We believe that these experiences shape them not only professionally, but also give them confidence, adaptability, and even greater motivation to reach the next level.
Trial in Barcelona
Last week, one of our players once again had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in an international environment. Barça Academy Hungary player Song Xiyue Botond visited Barcelona, where he took part in trials at Catalan clubs.
During his stay, he trained with CE L’Hospitalet and then with UE Cornellà, where he could work in a new professional environment, gain valuable international experience, and showcase his talent.
International competitions will continue in the coming weeks for several of our age groups.
U11 Team
The U11 team has a truly busy period ahead: from May 31 to June 2, it will take part in the Lazio Cup in Italy, and on June 7 it will compete in a one-day international tournament in Ada, Vojvodina, Serbia.
Following that, from June 12 to 14 in Salou, Spain, they will play in the MIC7 – Mediterranean International Cup, where they will face youth teams from outstanding clubs such as RCD Espanyol, Valencia CF, and Atlético Madrid, as well as other international teams.
The U13 age group will take part in an international tournament in Lendava, Slovenia from May 29 to 31, and on June 6 they will continue their participation in Ada, Vojvodina, Serbia, where more valuable international matches await them.
Our U15 team will also take to the field in Slovenia from June 5 to 7, where it will represent Barça Academy Hungary at the Radenci Trophy tournament.
Our U10 team will compete in Crikvenica, Croatia from June 12 to 14, where it will also gain valuable experience against a strong international field.
